The Feast of Trumpets
Lev 23: 23 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 24"Speak to the children of Israel, saying: "In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD."'

The Reason

The Feast of Trumpet is to be on the first day of the seventh month. It is never to be postponed or changed by the will of man. Only God establishes Holy time! God the Father and Jesus Christ never gave the Jews or the Churches of god today, the authority to change His appointed time!
Christ told His disciples, "Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. Which when Jesus perceived, He said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

Then understood they how that He bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine [teachings] of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees" (Matt. 16:6-12).  Postponements are one of the teachings to beware of.

It is not a lack of faith to obey God rather then human man! "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree" (Acts 5:29-30).
